An organisational psychologist by profession, I’ve spent years writing about people, personalities and the fascinating dynamics that unfold in the workplace. These days, I’ve turned my attention to a different kind of human behaviour, the sort that involves secrets, suspects and the occasional body.
I’ve always loved crime fiction and have particularly enjoyed writing short stories with a twist that leave the reader questioning everything they thought they knew. The Body at Bones was my first novel and the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my writing. My latest is a cosy, The Waratah Club Mysteries.
When I’m not writing, you’ll usually find me at the piano, where I love telling stories through music. I live in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW with my partner and our two much loved miniature schnauzers.

My new crime fiction
A twisted arm and torso surface from the foundations of a new build near a popular dog park. Sofia, sleeping rough, sees the body dumped and flees into the night, terrified.
Is the victim, a property developer, killed by a rival or are darker forces at play? Enter Pacer, a police detective haunted by an unsolved case. With gritty determination he pursues the killers but is baffled by their motives. He guesses that Sofia is the key to unlocking the mystery. When the killers hunt down and murder one of their own Pacer is desperate to find Sofia before they do.
Despite aching self-doubt, Pacer works his murder investigation and finally learns the startling truth when he untangles a web of connections between corrupt officials, crooked property developers and their international organised crime associates. But real redemption comes from a chance lead and the resolution of dilemmas from his past.
The Body at Bones is a police procedural set in Sydney’s Inner West and is replete with plot twists, intriguing characters and the dogs that enrich their lives.
